What do we believe?

We believe...

...the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the final authority in all matters of faith & practice.

…there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

…that Jesus Christ in the flesh was fully God and fully man, and in His substitutionary sacrifice and bodily resurrection.

…the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation and transformation of every believer.

…that every human is a sinner in need of a Savior.

…that salvation is a gift of God offered to all through personal faith in Jesus Christ.

…in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, manifested in love for each other, who comprise the Church, which is His body.

Our Doctrinal Statement is a summary of the core beliefs we view as essential to the Christian Faith.  It is not an exhaustive statement, thus it allows for different (varying) positions on other beliefs.  In these, we give each other liberty as long as they cause not division, distraction or disunity within our church body.
