History

Community Bible Church was founded as the vision of brothers Tim and Steve Ramsden.  This vision was a commitment to people, more than programs or buildings.

In 1993 Community Bible Church found its first "permanent" home. At this time the church began meeting in a downtown building owned by Lloyd's Hearing Aid.  

In 2010, we made another change of location.  Moving to Rock Church at 6732 Harrison Ave.

We continue to meet at 5950 35th Street in Rockford, IL.  

In 1991 the need for more space was answered when Community Bible Church moved into Flynn Middle School.  

In 2007, Forest City Baptist Church offered to let Community Bible Church rent their building on Saturday nights .

During the summer of 2017 we became aware of a Church property for sale at the corner of 35th St. and Blackhawk.
