Meet Our Pastor - Jake Swader

Jake is passionate about the Word of God, making disciples for Jesus Christ, and seeing the church come together in unity as the Body of Christ. In 1997, while pursuing a degree in Journalism, he felt the distinct call of the Lord on his life into full-time ministry. Following that call, Jake studied Ministerial Studies at Bethel Bible College and the Hampton Master’s Commission in Hampton, Va. It was there that he met his wife, Laura. They were married in August of 2000 and now have four children: Jeremiah, Mackenzie, (son-in-law Simeon), Kaleb, Nathan, and grandson Everett. Both Jake and Laura are Rockford area natives. |
